Recovery Program
Addiction doesn’t only affect the addict, but it impacts the entire family. Our Family Program at New Beginnings uses a variety of evidence based theories and approaches for 1 hour every other Saturday immediately after visitation.
We have learned through the years that we are not just rehabilitating each client, but habilitating them and that goes for the family as well. If the client goes back to the family and the family hasn’t begun the healing and recovery process then they go back into a compromised situation which could lead them back to addiction and unhealthy behaviors.
Through family counseling and recovery we have witnessed the family unit receive healing, restoration, and transformation. This includes parents, husbands, and children who start to see that they have enabled their destructive behaviors and this is often directly connected to codependency or some level of dysfunction in the family unit.

Addiction doesn’t only affect the addict, but it impacts the entire family.Individual
We help the individual discover the root of their addiction because we know that the use of substances is only a symptom of the problem.Every client that enters New Beginnings is assigned a caseworker/ counselor that works as an advocate and court liaison.
Through her caseworker she will receive individual therapy sessions which will include a variety of theories, therapies, and spiritual counseling. We help the individual discover the root of their addiction because we know that the use of substances is only a symptom of the problem. Oftentimes due to PAWS ( post acute withdrawal syndrome) the individual is in a type of fog, but this will get better with recovery time.
Group
Each individual will have the opportunity to share their own experiences while receiving feedback from their peers and the group facilitator. The inner healing process begins when clients identify their own common issues from what others have shared.
These groups range from Relapse Prevention, One Step With Jesus, Inner Healing, Anger Management, Celebrate Recovery and Parenting Classes. Each individual will have the opportunity to share their own experiences while receiving feedback from their peers and the group facilitator. They are also able to draw from what others are sharing and relate it to their own personal life experiences.
