Programs

Our programs are divided into three main treatment paths. Group, Individual and Family. You can find more information on each path below or browse our full list of classes offered in the programs.

Family

Addiction doesn’t only affect the addict, but it impacts the entire family.

Our Family Program at New Beginnings uses a variety of evidence based theories and approaches for 1 hour every other Saturday immediately after visitation.

We have learned through the years that we are not just rehabilitating each client, but habilitating them and that goes for the family as well.

Individual

We help the individual discover the root of their addiction because we know that the use of substances is only a symptom of the problem.

Every client that enters New Beginnings is assigned a caseworker/ counselor that works as an advocate and court liaison.

Through her caseworker she will receive individual therapy sessions which will include a variety of theories, therapies, and spiritual counseling. We help the individual discover the root of their addiction because we know that the use of substances is only a symptom of the problem.  Oftentimes due to PAWS ( post acute withdrawal syndrome) the individual is in a type of fog, but this will get better with recovery time.

Group

Each individual will have the opportunity to share their own experiences while receiving feedback from their peers and the group facilitator.

The inner healing process begins when clients identify their own common issues from what others have shared.

These groups range from Relapse Prevention, One Step With Jesus, Inner Healing, Anger Management, Celebrate Recovery and Parenting Classes. Each individual will have the opportunity to share their own experiences while receiving feedback from their peers and the group facilitator.  They are also able to draw from what others are sharing and relate it to their own personal life experiences.

Relapse Prevention – We provide education in scriptural and secular relapse prevention strategies. Including, principles of pharmacology, accountability, relapse triggers, coping skills, and craving management. Addiction is a condition that affects the brain, the mind, and the spirit. However, chronic relapse cycles contribute to a sinful spiritual condition which ultimately separates us from God. True relapse prevention is to have a deeply rooted relationship with Jesus as well as real life sobriety tools.
