Sharon founded New Beginnings Ministry, Inc. in 1998. Sharon is a licensed pastor in the State of Georgia, a Certified Addiction Counselor Level 2, Clinical Supervisor and Master Addiction Counselor. Sharon began this ministry with a burning desire within her heart to provide residency and discipleship for women battling addiction. Granny’s mission was to create a safe environment of recovery and transformation to women held captive by their addictions.

Knowing firsthand what is required to defeat the power of addiction and move forward as a fulfilled and productive citizen, Sharon has used her own addiction as a springboard. Sharon has been drug and alcohol free for forty plus years without a relapse and gives all the glory to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
